Girlfriend, listen to me -- there is one thing and one thing only that you need to remember when picking a purse for a wedding day: this day is about the bride, not you! One of the easiest ways to get in tune with fashion's latest and greatest is by listening and watching. In the past 2 weeks I've had more questions about brown shoes than I had in the 2 years prior! If you're craving a brown boot for your closet, now is the time! Here are a few quick tips when you want to see what brown can do for you:

• Brown goes well with jeans, NOT brown pants ...
• Match your shoes with a jacket or other layered clothing product such as a vest, not a shirt
• Always match your shoe with a belt of the identical color
• Don't wear a complete outfit with different shades of brown - you'll look ridiculous

When I first decided to volunteer my time and my expert eye to the world of style and fashion, I figured a big part of my life would be occupied by heavy set women asking me to help make them look skinny, hot, beautiful, like they were 21 again, etc. etc. -- you get the picture. Nothing could be further than the truth -- most of the questions I field these days are from SKINNY women and girls (Think sizes 00, 0, and 2 (every now and then a 4 ;-)) e-mailing me with a situation something like this,”Style I Love!!! Please help me through this fashion crisis! I’m a super skinny girl and I have absolutely no chest, and I look horrible -- I have NO CURVES; I don’t feel like a woman! Help me!”

Irony of irony, with the obesity epidemic what it is in the Western world - so much emphasis has been placed on making the heavier woman feel accepted and “ok” with who she is that the skinny woman has been completely forgotten and disregarded! Not only has the naturally skinny woman been forgotten in the world of style and fashion by media, she has been disregarded by stores!!! Ask for a size 0 at most department stores and they’ll send you to the kid’s section! What is a skinny woman to do? Do not fear!
